5 Questions That Cut Through the Noise

Be honest. These questions are designed to surface what's real — not what sounds good.

1

When you imagine your ideal relationship, does your current one feel like you're building toward it — or away from it?

2

In disagreements, how often do you feel heard by your partner?

3

Do you know what you actually need from a relationship — not what you think you should need?

4

How would you describe the effort balance in your relationship right now?

5

If nothing changes in the next year, how do you feel about where things will be?

Three Exercises You Can Do Today

No account, no purchase. Just honest work.

Exercise 01

The Shore Map

Draw two circles on paper — one for what matters most to you in a relationship, one for what your partner has expressed matters to them. Where do they overlap? That overlap is your Third Island. The gap is the work.

⏱ 10–15 minutes

Exercise 02

The Last 5 Arguments

Write down the last 5 significant disagreements you've had. Now look for the pattern — not the surface topic, but the underlying theme. Most couples fight about 2–3 things, over and over, wearing different clothes.

⏱ 20 minutes

Exercise 03

The Request You Haven't Made

Finish this sentence honestly: "The one thing I wish my partner understood about what I need is ___." Now ask yourself: have you clearly asked for it? Not hinted, not gotten upset when they didn't read your mind. Asked.
